The MI-FHSE-S2I is an addressable thermal detector from Morley suitable for temperatures up to 58°C. As soon as this temperature is reached in the room, the detector goes into alarm. The detector is integrated into a Morley analogue fire alarm system. This means that an alarm can be triggered locally instead of the entire system going into alarm. The address can be set using the rotary switches on the back of the MI-FHSE-S2I. The thermal detector is equipped with an isolator, which ensures that the rest of the detectors continue to function when it has a single fault.

The MI-FHSE-S2I is equipped with two LED indicators that show the status of the detector. Green indicates normal functionality, orange indicates fault or test mode, and red indicates alarm. The smoke detector is compatible with a wide range of bases, which may have a siren or flash built in. The standard plinth for the MI-FHSE-S2I is the B501AP.
