Addressable optical smoke detector

The NFXI-OPT is an addressable smoke detector from Notifier. The detector is integrated in an analogue fire alarm system. This means that an alarm can be triggered locally instead of the entire system going into alarm. In addition, the smoke detector is equipped with an isolator that ensures that the rest of the detectors continue to function when they have a single fault.

The NFXI-OPT is equipped with a LED indicator that shows the status of the smoke detector. Green indicates normal functionality, orange indicates fault or test mode and red indicates alarm. The smoke detector is compatible with a wide range of plinths, which may have a siren or flash unit built in. The standard base for the NFXI-OPT is the B501AP.
