For projects up to 64 cameras, where a reliable storage unit is required, the NVR508-64E-R offers a solution. This model is equipped with 2 Gigabit network ports. These ports can be set separately, making it possible to connect to the local network on the one hand, while the other port can be used to communicate only with a specific VLAN or separate switches for the cameras. A total bandwidth of 384 Mbps is available to display and store images smoothly.

The model is equipped with 2 HDMI and 2 VGA ports on the back. HDMI 1 and VGA 1 form an image output with the same display, as well as HDMI 2 and VGA 2 which offer a separate display. This makes it possible to create 2 different image displays so that different users have their own overview.

This model offers very diverse storage options for storing surveillance images. It is possible to place a maximum of 8 hard drives with a total storage capacity of 128TB. To guarantee a higher image guarantee, it is possible to configure the recorder storage as RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, or 10. This model also supports hot swap to replace a defective drive or to place more storage capacity without having to turn off the recorder. Optionally, an external hard drive can also be connected via the eSATA connection.

This model is also compatible with many VCA functionalities, availability depends on the selected camera models. The following functions can be applied: smart intrusion prevention (human and vehicle classification and color identification: cross line detection, intrusion detection, area entry detection, area exit detection), ultra motion detection (UMD), temperature detection (fire detection, smoke detection, temperature measurement, smoke and fire detection), people counting (people flow counting, crowd detection, heat map), video metadata and traffic monitoring. Of course, these functionalities are supported by powerful search functions to quickly retrieve, view and save the desired data.
